The cooktop has five induction zones (center, left top/bottom, right top/bottom). Turn it on by pressing firmly on the power button and holding for a second or two. The cooktop will auto-detect your pan if there is only one and you can select a power level. To adjust multiple zones, first select the zone on the display and then select a new power level. Avoid sliding pans, and if you use the cast iron pan, take care not to drop the pan on the surface as it can crack with force. Any sugar spills on the cooktop need to be cleaned right away; other spills can happily wait. To clean, use a soft cloth or non-scrubbing sponge with warm water and dish-soap.

Downdraft hood is hidden in the kitchen island just above the induction cooktop. Simply press the on-button and it will rise/lower.

The combi-oven is the uppermost oven in the stack. It has dedicated perforated steam trays; they are a shiny stainless steel color. Please be sure to use these only in the combi-oven on steam setting. They are not rated for high temperatures. There is also a darker colored drip tray which can be used to catch the water drops from the perforated trays; this can be used in both ovens on all settings. There is a temperature probe located with the cutlery; this can be used on all settings except Broil. The combi-oven also functions as our microwave – simply use the reheat setting. The oven also has numerous special modes such as “proof” for rising bread, a number of pre-set bread settings (baguette, focaccia, etc) and steam settings for a variety of vegetables.

This is the lower, larger oven in the stack. It is a typical convection oven. Select a mode by pushing one of the icons and then set your cook time. Do not use the perforated steam trays in this larger oven.

This is located at the bottom of the oven stack.

The dishwasher is to the right of the sink and has an auto-sensing dish soap dispenser. There should be plenty of dishwasher soap for your stay. If you happen to run out, you can also use regular dishwasher powder such as cascade or finish.

There is a auto-refilling water jug in the proximal portion of the left door of the fridge. Open by squeezing the tab on the bottom of that door. The middle drawer is set for meat/fish. Freezer with various ice cube settings on bottom.

There is an integrated hot-water tap in the kitchen faucet. Push and hold the button on the left side of the faucet. All water in the house is safe to drink and filtered with via our Aquasana whole-home UV Filtration system.

There is a two-zone beverage cooler. Temperatures are set for white and cool red wines on the left and beer on the right.

Oils, vinegars and spices are located to the right of the induction cooktop – there are three levels (the top is a bit hidden). Knives and cooking utensils to the left of the cooktop and in the drawer directly under the cooktop. There are extra batteries in the cupboard behind the counter stools. Pantry is to the left of the refrigerator.
